The new Rapture watch from HD3 Complication is absolutely breathtaking. I can assure you that if you can afford to own one of these watches you will be one of few people. No one else will be sporting this bad boy on their wrist considering it is made in limited quantities and costs over $100k.

NASCAR champion, Jeff Gordon launches his new TAG Heuer watch in NYC

December 9, 2005 [New York, NY] – NASCAR’s Jeff Gordon launched his newest watch, the TAG Heuer “2005 Jeff Gordon Special Edition Carrera Automatic,” today at The Tourneau TimeMachine, the world’s largest watch store, in Manhattan.

Gordon met fans and signed autographs while wearing his new watch, which he helped to design. Fans entered to win one of the special edition Jeff Gordon watches, along with a autographed note from Gordon.

The timepiece is the latest addition to the TAG Heuer Carrera line and incorporates the TAG Heuer logo and Gordon’s racecar No. 24. It features a blue dial with “Jeff Gordon” in yellow, a date window at three o’clock, a five-row link steel bracelet and a sapphire crystal caseback. Sporty and contemporary, the TAG Heuer Jeff Gordon Special Edition Carrera incorporates the classic TAG Heuer features: water resistant to 50 meters; scratch resistant sapphire crystal; hand applied indexes; diamond shaped hands; and luminescent hour and minute hands.

“We at TAG Heuer are very excited to once again work with Jeff Gordon,” said TAG Heuer North America President and CEO Daniel Lalonde. “We always look to partner with the best of the best, and Jeff embodies our ideals perfectly. We look forward to future collaborations.”

“I’m having a lot of fun working with TAG Heuer and collaborating with their design team,” said Gordon. “The Number 24, which is adorned on the watch, is a very special number to me, and I’m glad to be able to share this watch with my fans and auto racing enthusiasts.”

Additionally, Gordon is portrayed by world-renowned fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier in the TAG Heuer “What Are You Made Of?” advertising campaign and joins the ranks of other TAG Heuer brand ambassadors, including film superstar Uma Thurman, golfing champion Tiger Woods, and tennis ace, Maria Sharapova.

CHASE-DURER & THEIR FRIENDS, THE U.S. AIR FORCE THUNDERBIRD FLYING TEAM

November 18th was a day of pure thrills and excitement for CHASE-DURER executives Marianne Chase and David Elan as they sat in special front row seats to watch the U.S. Air Force THUNDERBIRD Flying Team perform almost unbelievable precision formation maneuvers, nearly touching each others wings as they flew just above the ground at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas.

It was the 50th anniversary of the THUNDERBIRDS and all THUNDERBIRD pilots from the very beginning were invited to special ceremonies held over a three day period. Eight hundred former and current THUNDRBIRD pilots and their families arrived at Nellis AFB to immerse themselves in the three day reunion. It was a time to catch up with old comrades and see the current pilots perform with the latest aircraft technology. What they do is spectacular and almost indescribable. Suffice it to say, such excitement ranks with the most thrilling moments of a lifetime.

CHASE-DURER is proud to have these superb flying professionals wear CHASE-DURER chronograph pilot watches. As Company President Marianne Chase said, “Among the many thrills of the day was a personal one for David and myself… just knowing that these incomparable fighter pilots wear CHASE-DURER watches in their very demanding activities.”

Here is a picture of the new Suunto X9i Wristwatch which features an Altimeter, Barometer, 3D Compass, GPS, Watch and PC interface. My friend John Desmedt was just commissioned as an officer in the US Army and he received one as a graduation present. This is one cool watch that I am sure will prove to very useful especially in extreme situations, such as combat.
